Waiting in Faith

As the new snow begins to fade

with the rising of the winter sun.

I begin to write these words

in bondage

to God’s one and only Son.

In fully seeing faith,

I believe pray and wait

For the one God has chosen

for me to date.

You can call me “old fashion”

or a “fool”

regardless, I do not care

for in my master’s book,

the one you call the Holy Bible.

There is proof

that he has done this all before.

Look in Genesis

Chapter 24

Start with verse 12

to verse 64.

There you will find,

God choose one woman

out of a dozen

for Isaac, Abraham’s son.

Now if he can do that

for a son of Abraham.

How much more so,

for a servant of his own

Son?!

So here I sit

In fully seeing faith

waiting and praying

for God to reveal

the one

he has chosen

for me to date.
